Its a beautiful day in the neighborhood :)

While I know much of the country is very cold, and even buried in snow, this is the time in the desert Southwest to finally enjoy some beautiful weather. As I am sitting here at 8am its 55 degrees outside and will be 70-ish later. The birds are singing in the trees outside my window and seem quite happy. The cats are sitting in the window watching them. I think they would be happier if they could get out at the birds, but you cant make everyone happy I guess! I love this time of year. Its very short too. But there is nothing better to clear your head or for your state of mind and even good health than to sit out in the fresh air in the quiet and just breath and relax. So, this is a short post to wish you a beautiful saturday, fresh air and good health...... I am on my way outsit to sit for abit.

Have a pretty day,,,,gail

  1. Gail, thank you for your note! You are in my prayers often thinking of you and your daughter, what you are dealing with day to day and now a respiratory infection. The respriatory stuff really takes it out of you doesn't it? We were down in Marana for such a short time, I may be back for more dry, sunny weather. I'll let you know what the lung doc has to say. More adventure!! Love to you!

  2. Well Gail... I must say I just found this other blog of yours...

    It truly makes you think...

I do hope things are coming along for you, and your kitties.

I have had 5 cats and one special doggie in my life and they have all passed on. But no one can tell you that they are not a part of your family... even if they don't stay around as long as we would want.

We are still treasuring our chocolate bunnies that you sent last Easter! One blue ribbon and one pink for both of my children!

Hoping to find more things on your site for Easter this year...

    All my best.

  3. Oh Gail, that looks delightful! We just had about 2 ft. of snow and I hear more may be coming. I don't think we'll be seeing flowers in bloom for awhile, so thanks for sharing those!

  6. Good Morning Sweetie...
I love the picture you shared this morning, and yes Saturday was a beautiful day until the rain moved in. I guess we are going to see more today they tell us. I know we need it, but I dread the allergies that will come from everything in bloom. (I have asthma so it is rather hard on me.)

Have a beautiful Monday sweetie. I hope we get to meet soon.

    Country hugs and love...Sherry
